Sign the Petition for Clean Air
Become a Friend of CAN by submitting your name and email address in support of cleaning the air in Hong Kong. The Petition asks the government to improve Hong Kong’s air quality until it is no longer a threat to the public’s health. CAN will collect the signatures and present them to the government. Air Quality Monitoring Statistics
The app will detect your location using GPS and automatically send you real-time measurements of four air pollutants, nitrogen dioxide, particulate matter, ozone and sulphur dioxide, from the nearest EPD monitoring station. Based on the figures, the icon on top will tell you whether or not it is safe to be outdoors. (Refer to screen shot 3)

Hedley Environmental Index
The HEI measures Hong Kong’s air pollution in terms of public health impacts and economic costs in real-time. On the app, you will be able to view the cost in terms of number of doctor visits per day, month or year. (Refer to screen shot 4)

達理指數
「達理指數」是一個即時計算空氣污染如何影響市民的指數，它以公眾的健康及金錢的損失來作表達方式。你可於此程式看到當日、本月和本年因空氣污染而額外求診的次數。(請參照擷取圖片4)

Pop-up Pollution Alert
The Hong Kong Air Pollution Index converts air pollution data from several types of pollutants into a value ranging from 0 – 500, with 0 being the lowest measure and 500 being the highest. Any time the Hong Kong API exceeds 100, an alert will appear on your screen. (Refer to screen shot 5)

污染警示

香港的空氣污染指數是根據數種污染物在空氣中的濃度而轉化為一個介乎0至500 的數值，0為最安全，500最嚴重，以監察香港的空氣質素。如果空氣污染指數超過100，污染警示將會彈出。(請參照擷取圖片5)
